Sachin Pilgaonkar Set to Direct His Next Commercial Hindi Film

After the remarkable success of the Marathi comedy family drama Navra Maza Navsacha 2, director-producer-actor Sachin Pilgaonkar is keen to direct his next film, that too a commercial entertainer in Hindi. The celebrated actor-director-producer Sachin Pilgaonkar has received immense love for his latest released Marathi film titled Navra Maza Navsacha 2, which turned out to be the second highest-grossing Marathi film of the year Sharing his thoughts, Sachin Pilgaonkar says, “After the grand success of our Marathi film Navra Maza Navsacha 2, I am now looking forward to directing a Hindi film, a thorough entertainer. I have been a commercial filmmaker directing various films in different genres over the years. Commercial family entertainers are my forte. Since I have primarily directed Marathi films in the last few years, I am now looking forward to directing a Hindi film once again. The immense love and support from the audience for all my work has kept me on my toes and even after 60 years in the industry, I still have the same passion and energy for cinema which drives me to keep going.”

Sachin pilgaonkar's Navra Maza Navsacha 2 Earns ₹19 Crores

The celebrated actor with a long career span of over 200 Films as an actor has directed 23 films which include some iconic Marathi comedy films such as Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi and Navra Maaza Navsaacha. Known for directing the super hit long-running Hindi TV comedy Tu Tu Main Main starring Supriya Pilgaonkar and Reema Lagoo, Sachin has also directed Hindi films like Prem Deewane starring Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff and ‘ Aisi Bhi Kya Jaldi Hai ‘ The film Navra Maza Navsacha 2 is a sequel to the film Navra Maza Navsacha released in 2005 starring Ashok Saraf, Nirmiti Sawant, and others in pivotal roles alongside the lead pair Sachin Pilgaonkar and Supriya Pilgaonkar. Now its sequel has earned a huge box office success by minting money of Rs 19 crores in the first 10 days and it is not only widely loved by the Indian audience but also the diaspora audience from the USA and Canada Now the Hindi audience has to wait and watch for the Hindi film that their favorite Sachin Pilgaonkar is keen on directing!
